A native of the Northwest, Anne has a deep rooted passion for sailing which began when she was a young girl in Ballard. She began racing on weekends during the mid 1980’s. Then as skipper of a Beneteau First 456 she expanded her knowledge of cruising and boat maintenance. Her duties included boat deliveries to the San Juan Islands, Gulf Islands and Desolation Sound. Anne’s global sailing adventures have allowed her to explore the Caribbean, Thailand, Myanmar, Australia, Belize, Palau, Mexico and the Inside Passage in northern British Columbia. On a trip to the Queen Charlotte Islands, Anne decided to turn her passion for sailing into a career, so she completed her ASA Instructor credentials.
